11:00 AM Finches

Musical chirps rang loud on a late summer morning, so close they seemed to echo from the walls, filling the house with bright, rhythmic melodies. The music led up to the rafters where, perched beneath the heft of the August sky, a pair of house finches performed a lighthearted rooftop duet. This was the magical moment I stumbled upon just before they took flight.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Unknown are the paths that led them there, and the journeys in their future remain mysteries carried on their wings through the breezes, with the sky as their limit. But captured in haiku is the very moment in time as they rested their wings on the roof and serenaded the summer’s skies with vibrant sounds of happiness.

Hope you enjoy 11 AM Finches. As our warm summer days are gracefully gliding into the beauty of autumn, may the new season sprinkle your days, like the newly fallen leaves, with colorful moments and magical melodies.
