The holidays have arrived, and nature has once again joined the celebrations of the season.
Colorfully festive floral displays, joyous bird sung tunes, and bountifully budding blossoms
of pomegranate have set the scene for Nature’s Christmas Tree Sonnet, by Marie Helen.
Let’s take a moment to relax and celebrate with nature, poetry, and music.
Wishing everyone a very Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!
Nature’s Christmas Tree Sonnet
By Marie Helen Abramyan
Vibrant colors line each of its branches,
Blooms ornately blossomed in the wind sway.
Verdant greens, and red corals in patches;
Nature’s adornment for the Blessed day.
Dispersed across leafy ribboned festoons,
Tones of peace, joy, peace, joy, chime merrily;
Heartfelt staccatos ring of bird-sung tunes,
Like choir hymns of praise in harmony.
Hiemal leaves rise, warmed by tinseled beams,
Shrouding light on an old tree’s lasting hope.
Peace, joy, inspire wondrous new dreams;
A chorus that shines beyond sound and scope.
Trunk to crowned top, beaming with prideful glee,
Stands nature’s Christmas tree festive, and free.
