The day of Thanks is upon us, and nature tells a story of gratitude and growth. In Nature’s Thanksgiving Feast, a poem by Marie Helen, we see birds, squirrels, and small creatures alike, gather together to feast on a quintessentially autumn fruit, a pomegranate. A small part of nature’s bountiful harvest that has ripened to feed us all. Sharing their found treasure of a beautiful and nutritious fruit in natural harmony. May you too have a wonderful Thanksgiving with the ones you hold dear, and may all of you be blessed with peace, harmony and gratitude. Have a very Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Autumn wafts it’s auburn breezes around, Leaves like turning pages, change green to brown. Paint a story of abundance and growth, Treasured harvest to birds and squirrels both. Crimson bulb, filled with sweet ruby gems; Dangles ornately amidst long tree’s stems. No false airs or magical trickery, Just growth, at its utmost simplicity. The prize shines in midday’s sun, as chirps ring, A bountiful harvest makes nature sing. Small creatures gather for a festive meal; Grateful to share sweet fruit, to bitter peel. Joining to feast in harmony and peace, May natural serenity never cease.
