Summer Rains

By lyricsoftwo.com

Warm breeze, cutting the stillness in the air, through swaying curtains

lightly billowing

Through the heat, a dampness in the air, sweetly scented from

droplets of summer’s rain trickling

A fragrant sigh of relief, from tired plumerias, showering after posing

under the summer day’s relentless sun

There is a calmness that renews spirits, heals from the heat, and

reminds that summer slows your run

Summer’s warm droplets, sprinkle under the orange lit sky still fluorescent

from the suns blazing glory

Birds glide from branch to tree, chirping in amazement, at nature’s

ever changing story

The melancholy damp ambience, surrounds the grass, weakened by the carefree

barefoot frolics, of summer’s enthusiasts

Summer rains, like summer nights, end fast, nature’s reminder to enjoy the

moments while they last.
